Join NCIL and disability advocates from around the country and abroad for the Annual March & Rally for Disability Rights! Whether you are a veteran leader or a new activist, all are welcome to join us as we march from the corner of 11th and G Streets NW to the West Front Lawn of the Capitol, where we will gather for an empowering rally. This is a chance for our diverse community to celebrate our accomplishments together and unite to continue the fight for disability rights.
The March will begin promptly at 10:00 a.m. at the Grand Hyatt Hotel (11th and G / Metro Center). Those who do not wish to march can meet us at the rally site. The rally will begin at 11:30 a.m. and will take place on the West Front Lawn.
Whether you arrive for the march or meet us at the rally site, bring your signs and banners to show pride and/or voice issues that are important to you. Once at the rally, we will hear from leaders in the Independent Living Movement and elected officials as they get us fired up to meet with our legislators on the Hill. There will be ASL interpreters on site.
